But you gotta do what you feel is right.
I loved seeing your work here on dA as I find it an easier way to view it in one go than having to scroll through my tumblr feed. I am so so sadface right now. I do certainly hope you make a new account here. If you need to close up this old one, I've provided a handy dandy FAQ below
FAQ #113: Can I delete my deviantART account?
I can understand the need to professionalize your career, and your art is certainly worthy of that title, but I do wonder if it's more than that...? I suppose it's a part of growing up, but looking back on your first works it does give a great perspective to how far you have come along. I don't see anything to be ashamed of in there. But in this interconnected age, I suppose one can't be too careful if you are seeking a good first impression.
I watch you on tumblr and visit regularly, though the layout is still frustrating for me to deal with for long periods. I guess I'm getting old. I think I got you on facebook as well. I wish you the best of luck and success, your work is so expressive and adorable, it's only a matter of time before you hit the big time. I hope you won't forget your roots though, this website fostered some amazing talent despite the huge volume of submissions over the years. It's always a bit sad seeing my artist friends move on, but I know you got a good head on your shoulders, you'll be alright. Just be sure to pitch those HA sketches to the bigwigs you meet! That stuffs golden!
hope to know you new account too :'D
good luck on everything!
